“Who knew being a heartless killing machine would present so many moral dilemmas. (Yes, that was sarcasm.)”

Synopsis

SciFi’s favorite antisocial A.I. is again on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah’s SecUnit is. And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good.

Review

Yes, another 5-star read! I love love love love LOVE these books! Did I tell you that I love these books?

Sci-fi in the first-person of a SecUnit named Murderbot who has a love-hate relationship with other bots and humans, loves spending hours watching media, and is socially awkward all mesh together into a perfectly hilarious action-packed story every single time without fail!

This time, Murderbot goes on a solo mission but unexpectedly is forced to join forces with some humans plus a bot named Miki. Miki, who happens to be cutesy and annoying, evokes Murderbot’s personality and the responses had me reading this in pure joy, laughing the whole way through.

The ending makes me excited to read the next one. I’m excited for this reunion and curious to see if it’ll be welcomed or end up being the end of the rogue adventures of Murderbot.

I cannot recommend this series enough!

Best,

Ashley
